Comments/tips: Many professionals picked up golf or took their refresher course from Coach John here in RBAF Golf Club. I too, started golf with him. John is a patient and professional coach. Highly recommended. These are the two standard packages to choose from – 10 + 2 green lessons or 5 + 1 green lessons. If I’m not wrong, he does single session for the season players too, just to help fine tune the swing. Whether you’re going to the driving range or the green, an insect repellent is a MUST (if you are prone to insect bites mosquitoes/sand flies). Best timing for the range is between 7 – 9 AM in the morning and 4 – 6 PM in the evening. Nice skyline and you won’t get the sun shining right at your face.

Jerudong Garden Par 3

Open to: Public
Contact: (673) 261 2500
Opening hours: 7 AM – 6 PM

Green fees
B$10 per player. (No buggy or trolley available)

Comments/tips: A good practice ground, especially for beginners. It’s usually not crowded and for just B$10, you can have as many rounds as you like. It’s right next to the beach so you can enjoy the cool breeze on your face on a warm day. The green is pretty decent, however, watch out for the putting green at some of the holes nearer to the beach, spotted a few shells on the ground which could potentially sketch or damage your club.

Note: Greens and ranges will be closed from 12 PM – 2 PM every Friday. Rates stated above are collated in Apr 2013
