Water taxi ride to Temburong

Video shows one of the narrowest section of the meander to and fro Temburong. Look how near we are to the mangroves. Bearing in mind that it’s 2-way, accommodating 2 boats in the opposite direction at any one time. At times, they will slow down to prevent having wakes when sampans are spotted along the banks of the mangroves. Some said to have witnessed crocodiles on the river banks when the tide is low, esp. in the later part of the day nearing sunset. How cool is that?! I’ve taken many times, but am not that lucky yet. The ride can be really enjoyable on a sunny day, with the cool breeze on your face. I love it! But watch out on rainy days, as visibility might not be as good, and when all windows on the boat are closed, motion sickness will kick-in for some as it can get pretty stuffy inside. Regardless, it will still be a good experience especially if you’re a city-kid.
